Corn mazes and pumpkin patches near Kingston: costs and honest trade-offs
Choose Spring Meadow for a free corn maze, Fruition for a wagon ride and pumpkin-field visit, or Wynn for a paid puzzle maze with evening hours. The two farms west of Bath are outside Kingston. Set a total budget for entry, fruit, pumpkins and travel before you leave.

Choose the trip that fits your family
A pumpkin for the porch and an afternoon getting lost in corn are two different purchases. Decide which one you want before paying admission. Spring Meadow, Fruition and Wynn all came up in local conversations, but their costs and activities suit different trips. This is a three-farm shortlist, not every farm around Kingston.
| Farm | Main reason to go | The catch |
|---|---|---|
| Spring Meadow | Free corn maze | Fruit and food cost extra; outside Kingston |
| Fruition | Wagon ride and pumpkin field | Admission plus the pumpkin price |
| Wynn | Puzzle maze and evening option | Paid entry from age 2; picking ends before dusk |

What the local discussion got right, and where to be careful
In the October 12 Kingston Reddit thread, visitors praised Spring Meadow's maze, cider and doughnuts. Others liked Fruition's mix of activities. Wynn drew mixed views: one visitor liked the cider and photo spots but felt the maze cost too much and said the pumpkin choice was limited on their visit. Those are individual experiences, not a city-wide vote.
A reply also cleared up a useful mix-up: Wynn and Spring Meadow are different farms. A paid maze near Bath does not mean Spring Meadow's maze has a fee. Commenters said Glocca Morra had closed. We have not verified a current opening there, so it is not a suggested stop.

The same three farms keep coming up, for different reasons
An October 2023 pumpkin-patch thread helps explain the newer recommendations. Visitors liked Fruition for its wagon ride and the feeling of a full farm outing. Spring Meadow appealed to people who wanted something quieter and cheaper. Wynn fans liked combining apples with a maze, and one mentioned buying seconds for cooking. Check this year’s supply rather than expecting an old bargain to be waiting.
That older thread also asked a very fair question: do you want a pumpkin, or the experience of picking one? A commenter pointed out that a supermarket could be cheaper for the pumpkin alone. Another did not find the hay-bale photo scene they had expected. A farm can be a lovely afternoon and still be poor value for the particular thing you came to do.
For a family with young children, choose the one activity they will enjoy even if you leave early. For a group that likes solving clues, paying for a longer maze may make more sense. The strongest repeat advice is to match the outing to your group, rather than treat the most expensive ticket as the fullest day.

Fruition: work out entry and pumpkins separately
Fruition Berry Farm
3208 Hughes Road, Kingston, Ontario, Canada
The posted 2026 entry is $10 per adult, $5 for ages 5 to 15, and free for children 4 and under. The $25 family rate covers two adults and up to four children. It includes the wagon and maze, not the pumpkins. The pumpkin page lists pick-your-own at $0.55 per pound and ready-picked at $0.85 per pound. A farm-stand-only purchase needs no admission. Last pumpkin-field entry is 3 p.m. A 10-pound pick-your-own pumpkin adds $5.50 to your outing. Bring cash or debit and boots.

Spring Meadow: a free maze does not mean a free shopping trip
Spring Meadow Orchards
10143 Loyalist Parkway, Adolphustown, Ontario, Canada
Its free maze is the clear budget advantage. The apple page lists a regular-variety pick-your-own half bushel at $25, compared with $30 pre-picked. Special varieties cost more. Pick only an amount you can use. There is also a pumpkin patch and picnic area. The experience page says weekend doughnuts run until after Thanksgiving. Since Thanksgiving has passed, call before making doughnuts the reason for a visit. Current daily hours and step-free field access were not confirmed.

Wynn: pay for the maze you actually want
Wynn Farms, main farm
8191 Highway 33, Greater Napanee, Ontario, Canada
The maze page lists $10.62 plus tax for ages 13 and up and $6.19 plus tax for ages 2 to 12. Two adults and two children aged 6 and 9 come to $33.62 before tax, fruit or pumpkins. Reservations are not required. The posted season runs to November 8, with Friday and Saturday maze hours until 10 p.m. Daytime picking still ends before dusk. The October 16 update says the main and flower-farm mazes have different puzzles, with both included that festival weekend. Treat that as a weekend offer, not a season-long promise.

Before you get in the car
- Choose one main activity first: maze, apple picking or pumpkins.
- Add admission for every person's age, then allow for fruit, pumpkins and fuel.
- Read the farm's latest weather update. A published season does not guarantee every crop or activity.
- Wear shoes you can get muddy. Ask about the actual route if someone uses wheels or needs firm, level ground.
- Take a screenshot of the right address. Wynn has two locations. Do not assume one entrance serves both.
- If all you need is a pumpkin, compare a farm-stand purchase with paying for the field experience.
